This policy explains what information Pack&Pattern (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit packandpattern.com or join our early-access list, why we collect it, and what your rights are. We keep it short and plain on purpose.
Who we are
Pack&Pattern is operated by Mercy Adetokunbo. You can reach us at hello@packandpattern.com.
What we collect
- Your email address when you join the early-access list.
- Optional answers you choose to give: what you make and what you would design first.
- Campaign tags from the link you arrived through (for example, which ad or post sent you), if present.
- Technical data such as your IP address and browser details, which our hosting provider processes to deliver the site, keep it secure and limit abuse (for example, to stop automated sign-ups).
We do not have user accounts or take payments yet, and the site does not currently use cookies or analytics. If that changes, we will update this page first.
Why we use it
- To email you about early access, including when Pack &Pattern opens and your founding price. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by signing up and can withdraw at any time.
- To understand who is interested so we can build the right things first. This uses your optional answers and is based on our legitimate interest in improving the product.
- To keep the site secure and working. This is based on our legitimate interest in preventing abuse.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We use these service providers:
- Kit (kit.com) to store the early-access list and send emails.
- Vercel to host the website.
- Cloudflare for our domain name and DNS.
- Google Fonts: the site loads its typefaces from Google, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK and European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, they rely on recognised safeguards for international transfers.
How long we keep it
We keep your email and answers until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, or until we close the list. Technical logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period under its own policy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it elsewhere. You can withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority, such as the Data Protection Commission in Ireland or the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK.
Security
We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no system is completely secure.
Children
Pack&Pattern is not aimed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. For material changes we will let early-access members know by email.
